Artistic Creation The Exquisite North

March 3, 5 and 6 from 11-5

Arts Underground on Main Street (lower level of the Hougen Centre)
Admission: This is a free event

The Yukon Art Society has invited artists to participate in a game based on the Exquisite Corpse game.

• 7 artists will work independently to create a group body of work.
• the theme of the project is what we do in the winter.
• there is a common horizon line and secret cues for the left and right sides of the painting.
• individual pieces will be hung in the gallery and will flow into a larger body of work that will look planned.
• the best part is the inability to control the end result.

2 artists will be working onsite from 11-5 p.m. 

• Saturday March 3: Katherine Alexander and Amber Walker
• Monday March 5: Maxime Deschesnes and Suzanne Paleczny
• Tuesday March 6: Sonja Ahlers, Nicole Bauberger and Meg Walker

The completed work will be revealed on March 8 from 5-7:30 p.m.
