Raphaël Freynet – Do you know that name? If you do, it must be because you heard of him when he won the Album francophone of the year award at the Western Canadian Music Awards (BreakOut West), last October in Whitehorse.

On March 7 at 8 p.m., you will have the chance to discover or rediscover the audacious texts and the intriguing voice of Raphaël.

Originally from Manitoba, living now in Alberta, Raphaël Freynet belongs to that new generation of Northern and Western francophone artists who are emerging on the Canadian artistic scene.

Opening Act: local artists Hélène Beaulieu and Pascal St-Laurent.
